About Us

HelptheAged.ca was once the home of a non-denominational, non-profit international development organization dedicated exclusively to assisting elderly people living in poverty in both Canada and the developing world. The organization was founded in 1975 and its mission was to improve quality of life for the elderly, specifically those who were living below the poverty line through specialized services and programs.

Help the Aged is still completely dedicated to helping the elderly and improving their quality of life. We publish articles covering news about political and policy changes affecting the elderly, posts spotlighting services and programs that focus on seniors, how-to guides to help seniors stay up to date with technology and get access to the internet as well as tips and tricks on how they can save money on the basic costs of living.
